What are you doing to keep your employees satisfied and engaged, so they don't get poached? We have never seen anything like the current situation in the recruiting space in the legal industry. It's incredibly tight it is right now, and it is an employee market.

What does that mean for you as a law firm owner? It would be best to make sure that you are spending time checking in and over-communicating with your employees.

Toward Q3 and Q4 of 2020, we had a tremendous amount of employees that were out there looking for jobs. Now it's come to a screeching halt.

From the employee's perspective, many factors might result in job dissatisfaction, including poor working conditions, feeling overworked, no scope of promotion or career advancement, and lack of recognition.

It's critical right now that you take the time to understand where your people are and making sure to implement employee growth plans every quarter.
