Dan Moulder is the Project and
Paralegal Manager at Butler Snow LLP. He’s also the author of “The
Lunch: How to Manage You. A Leadership Book for the Rest of Us”. He
knows how important it is to make sure that employees feel valued
at their work. He sits down with host Molly McGrath to talk about
what businesses can do to make their employees feel
- There are always ways to improve. Take some
time to write in a journal about the ways you can improve yourself
either in your personal life or work life.
- You need to meet your employees or colleagues
where they are. Once you understand their mindset better you know
to work with them.
- You have to realize you are in the human to
human business. If you don’t treat your employees like actual
humans they won’t stay for long.
- The pandemic allowed people to really
reevaluate their life and if their job is something they wanted to
- Everyone wants to feel connected and respected.
Show your employees that you care and it will make all the
difference in the world.
- Don’t say that you don’t care about something.
Indifference is the opposite of love, so show your love by saying
what is on your mind.
- People tend to hold themselves back. We need to
be aware of this and make sure we overcome this obstacle and
achieve our ultimate goals.
